“In spite of the fact that it has taken us years to get wrong, we try to get right in a moment.” F.M. Alexander

Like any skill, the Alexander Technique takes practice to learn. Lessons can be quite baffling at first. It helps to schedule several lessons a week until you are better able to pursue the work on your own. Plan on around 30 lessons to teach you the basics. You will get more from lessons if you schedule them regularly and not too far apart. My goal as a teacher is to help you learn the skill well enough to use it reliably on your own. Each student has their own unique way of learning, and should pace themselves accordingly. There is no need to prepare. Just be punctual and wear comfortable clothing. There is no limit to how much you can learn.
"If you have something, give it up. Getting it, not having it, is what you want." F.M.Alexander
